Our ‘EcoMe Pegs’ will truly last FOREVER! We’ve named them this because they are manufactured out of marine grade stainless steel. These pegs do not need replacing. Buy them once and they will last a lifetime.
No matter where life takes you these pegs will travel with you and will stand up to any weather condition. You may live in or near a city now but one day you may retire to the beach and even in the harsh sea and salt air they will not rust. You can even leave our EcoMe Pegs out in the rain!
Marine grade 316 stainless steel is the only type of stainless steel we sell because we see it as a truly sustainable option. Despite being called stainless steel, other types of steel can still corrode.
Marine grade 316 stainless steel is extremely corrosion resistant and highly un-reactive in even the harshest of conditions, which is why it is used in coastal and marine environments, manufacturing environments, and in the manufacture of pharmaceutical and medical products. It was the perfect choice for us when manufacturing our pegs as we wanted a product that you could hand down to your children. That is how long these pegs will last!
Our pegs come in one size (76mm long) and are made out of one continuous loop of 2mm diameter wire. They are one piece, with no separate spring mechanism to loosen or wear out, and unlike wooden, plastic or bamboo pegs they will not mark clothing or break - so no more broken plastic pegs heading for the landfill! This one size is suitable for all of your laundry needs, they will hold everything firmly, with no bunching, from towels and duvets, to delicates and baby clothes.
The longer length of the pegs also makes them easier to use for hands that have physical limitations such as arthritis or RSI.
Our EcoMe Pegs come in a box of 20, or you can purchase a bulk pack of 80. Check them out here.
